Great article posted on Greenbiz.com about TerraChoice and their process of testing products to establish whether they are truly “green” or a bunch of greenwash. The article’s author makes a great point about how TerraChoice, by their own definition, is a green marketer themselves and should be governed by their own “sins” of green marketing.
I know it all sounds like fluff but when we’re all overwhelmed with these messages of a product’s green factor and if one company, TerraChoice, wants to be your default and unquestioned determiner, they shouldn’t be a violator themselves. And TerraChoice is a green marketing agency – they consult companies on how to get their pro-environment message out.
